Centerport, Long Island

Centerport is located on the North Shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York.

The North Shore of Long Island was named the Gold Coast because of all the mansions that the rich and famous built along the beautiful shoreline. William Kissam Vanderbilt II built the Vanderbilt Estate in Centerport. It is now the Vanderbilt Museum and houses a planetarium.
